He’s perhaps better known for his roles in Angel and Leverage than his career as a country musician, but Christian Kane‘s latest single has been spreading throughout country radio and his self-titled EP has been making waves since its release.
With a tour on the books Last.fm Trends decided to check out how the singer has been doing among listeners and what other classics he might have in his back pocket.
Kane’s audience has been growing steadily on Last.fm since listeners began scrobbling “More Than I Deserve“. In the meantime he’s amassed 138,579 plays from 4,020 listeners, which suggests that those listeners are a hugely devoted bunch.
Many of his top tracks come from the new release, of which “The House Rules” appears to be doing the best – it’s that track which has broken out onto country radio and has kickstarted the impending tour.
But up top it’s “L.A. Song” that’s gained the most scrobbles. Featured on the soundtrack for hit show Angel it has, until now, assured him a cult following, one that’s likely to see a bump in listeners as the new material breaks out.
