There’s a lot of walking going on this weekend. Get your sneakers ready for the National Down Syndrome Association’s Buddy Walk in Hemet tomorrow (Sat. 10-2).
Everyone’s invited to join, bring the entire family to the walk which happens from 10am until Noon at Weston Park, at Thompson and Florida Ave. in Hemet.
The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
