CBS - Eye on the Community

Chris Sorensen, the founder of the non-profit organization Homeownership Education Learning Program, a.k.a. H.E.L.P., is offering a free consumer education class called “Can I, or Should I, Keep My Home??” on Saturday, April 2nd from 9-3 at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center. Representatives from the California Department of Real Estate, the IRS and HUD will be on hand to answer questions about loan modifications, short sales, foreclosure, and their possible tax implications. Homeownership Education Learning Program is funded by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors to help Inland Empire residents make wise choices about saving their home from foreclosure.
