Jurupa Valley Cityhood Election-Yes on Measure A

CBS - Eye on the Community

Todd Roper, President of “Yes on Measure A,” explains why he believes that residents of Belltown, Glen Avon, Indian Hills, Jurupa, Mira Loma, Pedly, Rubidoux and Sunnyslope should vote to incorporate those communities into a new city called Jurupa Valley in a special election on March 8th. He said it will allow the residents to have more local control over development, code enforcement and other issues than if they are made by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. Voters will also be asked to elect five city councilmembers and to decide if future city council elections should be conducted at-large, by district or from district on March 8th.

Leave us alone. The last thing we need is more corrupt politicians . Why do we want to pay six people to do the job of one supervisor?” They say no new taxes – just wait -cityhood will bring more taxes. You can take your Jurupa Valley cityhood and stick it where the sun don’t shine. people never learn – leave well enough alone.
