[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sara Evans[/lastfm] says people don’t believe her when she tells them it’s been 6 years since she’s released a new album. She also says it’s almost hard to believe it herself.

In 2005 Sara Evans released Real Fine Place, and that was the last we had gotten any new stuff from her. Until a few months ago. Her powerful single “A Little Bit Stronger” has made a major impact on a lot of people. That song is on her new album Stronger that came out this past Tuesday, (March 8th).

We all know Sara had some very personal issues to sort through the past couple of years, but why such a long wait for new music? Sara said when it came to this album she wanted to make sure she picked the right songs, and that took some time. She feels the music on her new album covers “every phase in a relationship”.
