9/11 Remembrance - September 11th Tribute

In the spirit of unity, we invite you to join us on Sunday 9/11 from 11a-5p at participating Banner Mattress locations, to share your thoughts and reflections. While you’re there, pick up an American flag or American Flag commemorative decal while supplies last, and sign a card honoring the heroes of 9/11 from our overseas troops, to the New York Police and Fire Departments, the Pentagon Memorial and the Flight 93 National Memorial. In association with Banner Mattress.

Ten years ago today, I was 11 years old. I was in fifth grade and I remember getting up that morning. I remember my mom showing me the news. I remember not understanding what was going on. I remember going to school and still not understanding what was going on.

Today, I now know the meaning of this day. I know the meaning of why that morning meant so much to millions of Americans. I now know how this day makes me feel now. I am truly blessed to say that even though I didn’t know 10 years ago the understanding of what was happening that morning, I DO NOW!!
