John Kunkel, Director of Communications for the San Bernardino-based Time for Change Foundation, describes the free services it offers to homeless women and children, which have become the new face of homelessness in the Inland Empire since the economy collapsed in 2008. The Time for Change Foundation offers emergency and transitional housing to homeless women and children as well as training to help them become self-sufficient including financial education and money management classes, transportation, leadership development and drug and alcohol counseling. The foundation will celebrate its tenth anniversary in early 2012.
