Steven Tyler‘s has purchased a new home, plus Taylor Lautner walks away from an upcoming Super Hero movie.
STEVEN’s NEW HAWAIIAN HOME
Steven Tyler is taking up residence in Hawaii. “The Wall Street Journal” says he recently bought a house on Maui. The three-thousand-square-foot, two-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home sits on a quarter-acre of land in a nature preserve near Wailea. The house is a five-sided structure that features several decks with ocean views. Inside the home boasts an aquarium that reaches from the floor to the ceiling. The place also comes with an saltwater pool. The home was listed for six-point-five-million, but Tyler didn’t pay that much for it. The rocker got the house for four-point-eight-million. Steven bought the house from a vineyard owner in Napa Valley, California, who said he was selling the property because he wasn’t using it all that much. Last month Tyler spent the Christmas holiday in Maui, which is where he reportedly proposed to his fiancée Erin Brady. However, it’s not clear whether they stayed at this particular house while they were in Hawaii.
TAYLOR LAUTNER WALKS AWAY FROM ROLE
Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner has walked away from his upcoming superhero role as Stretch Armstrong due to a scheduling conflict. He signed up for the action role in 2010, dropping out of playing crimefighter Max Steel to accommodate the Hasbro project, which was originally expected to hit movie theaters this year. But production at movie studio Universal stalled and it’s since been picked up by bosses at Relativity Media, who are now eyeing a 2014 release. The delay in filming has prompted Lautner to step down from the title role, according to TheWrap.com. A replacement has yet to be announced.
