The Voice coach, Blake Shelton, teamed up with JCPenney’s 12 Days of Giving Holiday Tour to perform a free concert Saturday in Culver City. Country music fans from all over the Los Angeles area gathered to spread a little Christmas cheer with songs from Blake’s newest album ‘Cheers, it’s Christmas’.

RaeLynn, a competitor on The Voice last season, opened the concert with a few Christmas songs and previewed her brand new song she will be performing on The Voice this week called “I Want Your Boyfriend“. The crowd exploded when she invited her close friend and mentor Blake Shelton to join her on stage; with a guitar in one hand and a frilly pink drink in the other, Blake was ready to give the hundreds of screaming fans the concert they’ve been waiting for.

Blake opened up with his hit song “Drink On It“, followed by his Christmas version of “Home” featured on his new album ‘Cheers, it’s Christmas‘. He told the crowd to “just go with it, it’s easy to mix the versions together but it still sounds good!” The LA crowd sang along with every song and Blake even took song requests from several fans before ending his set with “Honey Bee“. What better way to end the JCPenney Holiday Concert Tour than with one of country music’s biggest stars?
