The lively twin duo, Carli & Julie Kennedy, are two ladies who will have your toes tapping with their own spin on country music.

Their classical training and spunky stage presence have been making a buzz through every club in Nashville. They have been playing music together for as long as they can remember, learning to play piano at age five and guitar and violin at eight! Carli & Julie began their career by playing in a family band during community events, but took their love for music to the next level by earning Bachelors degrees in musical performance at the University of Victoria.

They released their first EP of original songs in 2008 and second titled “Small Town Stories” in 2011 with BCCMA Producer of the Year, Paul Shatto. The dynamic duo was nominated for five BC Country Music Awards this year. Loved by music critics, fans and colleagues alike, they have been described as “true pioneers in the Folk, Jazz and Celtic genres. Carli is bouncy and effortless on her acoustic, while Julie works the fiddle like Jimmy Hendrix on an electric guitar” (Lithium Magazine, 2012). Check them out for yourself.
