Kelly Clarkson is trying her hand in country music and has a new song “Don’t Rush” out on K-Frog. She talked with the Frogmen about her song as well as her upcoming wedding.

The Frogmen compared Kelly’s song “Don’t Rush” to the sound of a Barbara Mandrell song, which Kelly totally agreed. Kelly said she is a “huge Barbara fan” and “was very drawn to the song” right when she heard it.

Kelly got engaged to her fiance back in December, who just to happens to be Reba McEntire’s step-son. She said they are busy wedding planning and shooting for a wedding in the fall somewhere outside. She admitted to already having a meltdown. She also said the one thing she is “terrified” of  is everyone watching her walk down the aisle. She also shared that her buddy Blake Shelton was going to be performing at the reception.

Kelly was born in Texas, so shared a little about her experience in country music, saying that growing up in Texas “it’s impossible not to be a George Strait fan”. She also talked a little about the Dallas cowboys and her thoughts on how they could get to the Super Bowl.
