Chris Stapleton Announces Debut Solo Album to Drop in May

Chris Stapleton fans, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for.

Today (Jan. 23), Stapleton dropped the news that he would finally be releasing his debut solo album on May 5. Titled Traveller, the album will be released by Mercury Nashville.

The 13-track release was recorded at Nashville’s historic (and recently savedRCA Studio A and produced by Dave Cobb, who’s notable for his work with such adventurous artists as Sturgill SimpsonJason Isbell and Jamey Johnson.

“This record was made standing on the shoulders of friends, family, and heroes. I hope people enjoy listening to it as much as I’ve enjoyed making it,” Stapleton said in a release.
