Who doesn’t remember the awkwardness of an elementary school Valentine’s Day? Billy Currington certainly does! He recounts that day, thanks to UMG Nashville’s Press Room.
“I was in first or second grade,” he recalls. “I remember it was Valentine’s Day, and [my] mom going, ‘You’ve got to give your girlfriend something, and you’ve got to go give it to her.’
“We got her a box of chocolates, or whatever it was,” he continues. “I remember going down to her classroom and knocking on the door….getting her to come to the door. I remember handing it to her – and then, I took off running!”
Somehow, I suspect that Billy’s gained much more confidence since then!
