Fall is here and if your kids are going stir crazy here are some autumn activities to try here in the Inland Empire.

Let your kid release their inner Katniss at Bass Pro Shop. This is a free workshop offered to kids between the ages of 6-14 with parent’s permission. Click the link HERE to get your child registered for the next event.
9. Ice Skating
We don’t ever really get a full-blown winter here in Southern California, so this could be a good way to winterize your week. We have a couple of ice skating rinks here locally. Check out Ontario Ice Skating Center or Ice Town Riverside.
8. Tom’s Farm
There is always lots to do at Tom’s Farm. They have tractor driving for kids. They also have pony rides and place for kids to mine. Before you schedule a trip, check their calendar to see if there are any special events going on you might want to attend. Get details HERE.
7. Big Bear Alpine Z00 at Moonridge
This is a really unique zoo, because they use the facility to help injured animals. 90% of the animals that go to Big Bear Alpine Zoo are released back into the wild after they’re healed. They have animals like bears, bobcats, eagles, coyotes, and more. Check out their website HERE.
6. Pinterest Day
We’re bound to at least have one rainy day throughout our autumn season. To keep the kids from going crazy check out PINTEREST for some craft and game ideas. You can have a family fun day right in your home.
5. Chino Hills State Park
Take in the colorful scenery on a hike through Chino Hills State Park. It’s a great way to get some fresh air and exercise with the family. Get more details HERE.
4. Santa’s Arrival
The magic of Christmas is already in the air. Santa will be making stops around the I.E. including Victoria Gardens! Be there to see the big guy and the Christmas tree lighting. They will even be snowfall! Get the details HERE.

Release your inner artist with the family. This such a cool place to go and get creative with your kids. Check out their scheduled painting nights HERE.
There are some great place to drive to that aren’t that far away. You can camp in a tent, RV, or even a cabin. Check out Bear Bear for some camping sites. Spend the evening talking with the family around the campfire making s’mores.

What more “fall-ish” than picking apples. They have hayrides, apple picking, archery, and more. You can even have your Pinterest night after apple picking to find some great apple recipes. Get more info on Riley’s HERE.
