Kids are getting out of school for summer and they are ready for summertime fun at the library. At the Rancho Cucamonga Library this year’s theme is “Read for the Win”, it’s a chance for kids to celebrate with reading, sports, the Olympics, and more! The Library invites everyone to participate in the annual Summer Reading Program – from infants to teens to adults. Sign up at one of two library locations to track your family’s reading. Reading during the summer is essential for children and teens to help keep their reading skills up and prevent “the summer slide”. Children learn by modeling, or watching, their families. So have a great time reading together! Get more details about the program in this interview on Eye on the Community.
