Under a gorgeous canopy of Red, White and Blue, country music superstar, Frankie Ballard, had a huge crowd on its feet from start to finish as he headlined West Coast Thunder 2016 at Soboba Casino.
The connection that Frankie has with fans in undeniable. This Michigan native is polished, charming, and without a doubt, mesmerizing on-stage as he wails on the guitar.
Frankie kicked off a 75-minute set with his smash hit “Young And Crazy” to a multi-generational crowd, who all were engrossed in the music. Frankie and his band are tight, and you can tell they absolutely LOVE what they do.
As part of the show, Ballard treated the audience to new music off his soon-to-be-released album “El Rio”, which hits stores on June 10th. I will be one of the first in line to buy it, as songs like “L.A. Woman” and “Cigarette” wowed the crowd, myself included.
It was a beautiful Memorial Day honoring those we’ve lost in combat. I can’t think of anyone more fitting to perform on this day than Frankie Ballard, who took the time on-stage to thank those that served, and those that paid the ultimate price.
