A large brush fire broke out on the southbound 15 freeway in Temecula Saturday afternoon.
According to CBS LA on Saturday night, the fire was reported to be 70-acres and 20 percent contained as of 7 p.m.
Cal Fire gave an update on the status of the fire Sunday morning via twitter.
More than 200 crew members have been working to put the blaze out, which was originally reported to be 15 acres but quickly grew.
The California Highway Patrol had closed the southbound 15 near the scene of the fire Saturday morning.
Those that were stuck in the area took to social media and shared their views.
