According to the Press Enterprise, there were reports of a man carrying a gun in the Good Hope community in Perris this morning. (Monday, June 13th.) The report caused a lockdown of Good Hope Elementary School.
Riverside County sheriff’s Deputy Mike Vasquez said that a report of a person with a gun in the area of Louise and Theda Streets was reported at 7:33 a.m.
Nearby Good Hope Elementary was placed on lockdown for about 25 minutes after the report and deputies searched the area.
Deputies reportedly still hadn’t located the man and at about 8am the school’s lockdown was lifted.
