Elle King had such a good time in Nashville recently that she said she doesn’t want to go back to pop or rock music.
She performed on the CMT Awards with Dierks Bentley and fell in love with country music as a whole. She said, “I think that country is way more rock-and-roll than the rock-and-roll world anyways”. She spent some time in Nashville after her performance taking in CMA Fest. She said she felt so welcomed and noted that it might be “‘cause everyone is drunker than me”. She also admitted that she was a little nervous about duetting with Dierks, because she doesn’t really like to sing other people’s songs. She said she finally gave in partially, because Dierks is “so dreamy”.
