A new week, a new list of music from Next in Nashville’s Thought You Should Know. This week brings you music from Michael Tyler, Trent Harmon, Scotty McCreery and many more. Welcome back to Thought You Should Know.
1.“Amen for Women” – Endless Summer
Endless Summer released their self-titled EP in April of 2016. “Amen for Women” is among their six track EP which features the Canadian brothers Bob and Clint Moffatt.
2. “Tall Boy” by CJ Solar
“Tall Boy” by CJ Solar has reached over half a million streams on Spotify and is growing since it’s debut in April. This Louisiana native has written songs for Jerrod Niemann and Justine Moore. Listen to his version of what ordering a tall boy means to him.
3. “Crazy Last Night” – Michael Tyler
Singer-song writer Michael Tyler has released his debut single “Crazy Last Night”. Michael Tyler is also known for his collaboration in writing Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere on a Beach”.
4. “ Everybody We Know Does“ – Chase Rice
Chase Rice has released his new single “Everybody We Know Does”. The new release discusses the determination to strive through the hard times and to make the best out of difficult seasons in life.
5. “Crazy Beautiful Sexy” – Old Dominion
Old Dominion’s album, Meat and Candy is a perfect example of favorite song after favorite song. Most people know of their hits – “Break Up With Him”, “Snap Back” and current single “Song for Another Time”, however one of my favorite tracks is “Crazy Beautiful Sexy”. Check it out below.
6.”Red Hot American Summer” – Post Monroe
Ashlee Hewitt, Whitney Duncan and Shelby McLeod make up the trio behind Post Monroe. Their new single “Red Hot American Summer” showcases their unique harmony and diverse backgrounds.
7. “There’s a Girl” – Trent Harmon
American Idol season 15 winner Trent Harmon has released his first single titled, “There’s a Girl“ from Big Machine Record Label. Although there’s no set release date for the new album, Harmon has told sources that his debut album will have a mix of soul to his country genre.
8.”If I Told You” – Darius Rucker
“If I Told You” is the newest single released from Darius Rucker. In the lyrics Darius discusses his faults in life and asks if his new love interest can accept him for his past wholeheartedly.
9. “Spin Me” – Ryan Broshear
“Spin Me” is that head over boots, can’t seem to get you out of my head song. Ohio native, Ryan Broshear describes all the ways his sweetheart can spin him round, just like a record that he can’t turn off in his new song “Spin Me”.
10. “Five More Minutes” – Scotty McCreery
Honorary his later Grandfather, McCreery describes all the times he wished he had five more minutes in his new song, “Five More Minutes”.
11.“Seein’ Red” – Dustin Lynch
Dustin Lynch is getting a little risky in his new single, “Seein’ Red”. With an upbeat, energetic beat – this song will get everyone on to the dance floor. Check out Lynch’s new single below.
12. “We’re All Somebody from Somewhere” – Steven Tyler
Steven Tyler’s new song “We’re All Somebody from Somewhere” is the title track of the new album out July 15. In the lyrics Tyler describes all the uniqueness each person has to offer and embraces them throughout the track.
13.“Sleep Over” – Jamie Lynn Spears
Jamie Lynn Spears is back with her new single “Sleep Over”. The track reminds the listener to respect women and treat them as a lady should be treated.
14.“Just Another” – Sammy Arriaga (ft Jillian Jacquline)
Cuban country singer, Sammy Arriaga has released his debut EP titled, Banjos N’ Bongos. The EP features six tracks, including “Just Another” featuring Jillian Jacquline. The song is a soft tempo that describes just another night out that ends up meaning everything.
15.“Good At Tonight” – David Nail (ft Brothers Osborne)
David Nail has released, “Good At Tonight” the first track off his upcoming album which features Brothers Osborne. This track could be labeled as that pregame song to get you ready before a night out.
