Last night, a disturbing report came out on TMZ that claimed Florida Georgia Line dissed police officers at an Iowa tour stop over the weekend.
The incident involved an Iowa Sheriff allegedly being turned away backstage. According to the story, after the show, the duo allegedly asked for a police escort out of the venue, to which law enforcement told them to essentially, pound sand.
Florida Georgia Line has since responded via twitter:
In an update on TMZ, the band apparently has their own security for their shows, which is booked thru each venue’s promoters ahead of time.
While most police WELCOME a band that is self-sufficient, it appears as though this was a big misunderstanding.
