The Eli Young Band Loves Playing Live

The Eli Young Band‘s been in the studio lately, working on a forthcoming album which will include their new single “Saltwater Gospel,” but Jon Jones of the band says they really can’t wait to get out and play it live.

“Playing live is why we started this band,” he explains in audio provided by the Big Machine Label Group. “That’s what we love. That ability to get up on stage and entertain people, and feel that rush of being up there and playing music together is what has kept us going all this time.

“And so that seems like the most no-brainer part of what we do, and we would do anything to be able to get up and do it. I’m sure if we weren’t as successful as we have been, we’d still be in some dive bar doing it to this day. And it’s great to have these wonderful, huge acts that want to bring us out and share their audiences with us. And we’ve had so many great opportunities to learn how to become better musicians and better artists.”

EYB will be showing off their musicianship and artistry on Thursday, August 11th at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula.
