Jordan Rager Plays Brew Fest in San Bernardino [Setlist]

The sun was hot, but the beer was cold at the third annual Brew Fest at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino on Saturday (July 30th).

With over twenty breweries offering over fifty brews for sampling, plus lemonade, Shasta beverages, Italian ice cream, and more, there was plenty of refreshments for all, with entertainment provided by Roughhouse Cover Band, Psycho Punx, and country artist Jordan Rager.

While the audience sat on bales of hay, sipping beer, water, and soda, Jordan performed an acoustic set comprised mostly of songs from his forthcoming album, a few of which area already available for download, including his current single, “Southern Boy.” The recorded version of that song features his label mate Jason Aldean, whom Jordan gave a nod to with his cover of “Tattoos On This Town,” which included an excerpt of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s “Fishin’ In the Dark.”

Jordan also performed the songwriter’s version of “All Out of Beer,” which Jason has recorded and will include on his forthcoming album They Don’t Know, set for a September 9th release. He also included several well-received ’90s country songs in his set, such as Brooks & Dunn’s “Brand New Man,” Rhett Akins’ “That Ain’t My Truck,” and Garth Brooks’ “Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old).”

The promising up-and-comer finished his set with “Whatever,” including a portion of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” dedicating the fun, up-tempo song those who find themselves “hurting on Sunday morning after drinking too much at Brew Fest on Saturday!”
