After performing “You Should Be Here” on the Grand Ole Opry last night, Cole Swindell received news that the song has now had one billion impressions.
This is a sum of radio airplay, streaming and digital track sales.
The best part about this? Last night was his late father’s birthday. “You Should Be Here” was inspired by the death of Cole’s father, and even features Cole visiting his Dad’s grave for the first time in the music video.
In his follow-up single, “Middle of a Memory”, Cole once again shows us his emotional side as the music video, just released, shows Cole getting dumped.
Cole is currently on the Florida Georgia Line tour, but will scale it back when he goes out on his 3rd annual Down Home tour, presented by CMT this fall.
