Appreciation, Serving And Supporting Are Cornerstones of Dawg Project

The Dawgs Project (aka The Feed the Dawgs Project) was officially launched in the spring of 2009 by three old Viet Nam Dawgs.  The “Project” sprung from a barbecue at the PMO/IMEF Military Working Dog Kennels at Camp Pendleton’ (now Camp Cann) in March 2008.

The mission of the project is threefold: FEED THE DAWGS – to provide recognition/appreciation STEAK barbecues to America’s Front Line Defenders; DAWGS OF WAR – to preserve the heritage that is “Military K9” through The Dawgs Of War Exhibit (Ranch House) and The Dawgs Of War Memorial Monument, Marine Corps Veterans Memorial Gardens – both at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton; OPERATION DISTRACTION  – to support the Military Working Dog Community at home and off shore through the provision of “goodie packs” and specialized support.

Now hear the rest of the story on this segment of Eye on the Community.
