In a Facebook Live video today (October 7th), Brantley Gilbert announced that his next album, The Devil Don’t Sleep, will be released on Friday, January 13th!
“All my records…are chapters of my life,” Brantley says in the video. “They all tell a story. There’s always the good, the bad, and the ugly, but there’s a lot of good on this one, because this last chapter of my life has been extremely positive.
“I got married, and that’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Brantley continues. “But, The Devil Don’t Sleep is all about knowing the devil’s always there, and there’s always temptation. It keeps me on my toes, and it’s a constant reminder to me to always look forward and keep my nose in the right direction.”
Brantley also announced the first leg of 2017 tour, called “The Devil Don’t Sleep Tour,” featuring opening acts Tucker Beathard and Luke Combs. Unfortunately, no Southern California dates were announced this time around, but Brantley says more tour stops will be announced on Friday, November 11th.
The first single from The Devil Don’t Sleep is “The Weekend.”
