A favorite Halloween tradition in Southern California is the annual transformation of Knotts Berry Farm into Knotts Scary Farm!
With thirteen haunted attractions, two live shows, four Skeleton Key Rooms and a thousand monsters lurking in the fog, you’re almost guaranteed – at some point – to let out a blood-curdling scream, followed by hysterical laughter!
A new attraction for 2016 is Special Ops: Infected, is one of the largest mazes ever created at KSF. If you like video games, this high-tech experience is one you have to have on your list!
Other new mazes include Shadow Lands (where you’ll fight off demon samurai), Red Barn (featuring carnivorous animals and a heinous farmer), and the Hollow (Remember the Headless Horseman? You will….!).
The purchase of a Fright Lane Pass also gets you access to the Skeleton Key Rooms – four standalone rooms that are independent of the mazes. In Visions, you’ll witness paranormal activity connected to the Sarah Marshall Witch Trial, while in ZOZO, you’ll evaluate the reality of spirit board sessions. Meanwhile, you’ll experience an ’80s slasher film in Slasher, and mutant beasts lurk around every corner in Prey.
Returning favorites include Elvira’s “Dance Macabre,” last year’s groundbreaking Paranormal, Inc. maze, The Dead of Winter: Wendigo’s Revenge, Trick-or-Treat, The Tooth Fairy, VooDoo: Order of the Serpent, The Gunslinger’s Grave: A Blood Moon Rises, The Deadly 7, The Hanging: Finding Glory, plus 160 acres of Scare Zones!
There’s still time to enjoy all the fun of Knotts Scary Farm, which is open 7pm-1am on Thursdays and Sundays and Halloween night, and until 2am Fridays and Saturdays. Whatever you’re imaging….it’s here at Knott’s Scary Farm!
