The NFL Is Considering Fewer Commercials To Increase Ratings

Although we’re not all seeing eye to eye right now about politics, one thing we all can agree on is the amount of commercials that are ran during football games… There are too many!

It seems like whenever there isĀ stoppage of play, that’s the golden ticket to run a handful of ad’s that quite frankly, us fans are getting sick of watching.

According to Awful Announcing, commercials make up for 63 minutes of an NFL game compared to the actual 11 minutes of football that is actually being played.

It’s been this way for a while, but with this season could bring change. Ratings have been tanking and the NFL may be willing to do something about it.
