Blue Cut Fire Update

In August of this year a devastating fire swept through the Blue Cut area near Phelan in the High Desert.

The fire destroyed an estimated 105 homes and 213 other structures in San Bernardino County and now ranks as the 20th most destructive wildfire in state history, said a spokesman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

We reached out to Monica Feasel with the Tri Community Recovery Team to get an update on how the recovery was coming. Some residents are doing better than others, the process is slow and though the fire is gone they still need our help.
