Brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel, better known as High Valley, were the subject of a segment on CBS This Morning today (December 21st).
In the interview, the “Make You Mine” singers discuss their Menonite upbringing in rural Alberta, Canada, so far removed from civilization they couldn’t get a clear radio signal, but endlessly listened to Ricky Skaggs and Buck Owens on an old record player.
They made the move to Nashville in 2007, where they heard the music of Michael Jackson for the first time ever, and later performed on the Grand Ole Opry with their hero, bluegrass great Ricky Skaggs.
High Valley, who released their major label debut album Dear Life in November, will perform at the Brandin’ Iron in San Bernardino on Friday, March 3rd. Watch the profile on CBS This Morning here:
