Brantley Gilbert was forced to cancel an album-release party in Los Angeles Tuesday night, reportedly due to hospitalization.
A post on 1Iota’s website simply said that the show had been cancelled, but attendees reported having been told that “The Weekend” singer had been hospitalized.
An email to fans from 1Iota read as follows:
“So sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the taping of Brantley Gilbert on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 has indeed been cancelled. This is always frustrating. Because television is such an ever-changing industry, these things do happen from time to time. We’d love to have you come to another show, though, so go ahead and request another ticket today.
Again, sorry for any inconvenience.”
Brantley’s new album The Devil Don’t Sleep is scheduled for release on January 27th.
