On Tuesday a $50,000 reward was offered by the family of an Ontario business man for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of his killer.
It was almost a year ago when 56 year-old Arturo Perez was murdered inside his Ontario business it seems the police still don’t have any suspects.
Perez was the owner of Art’s Forklift Repair at 1948 Grove Avenue in Ontario. That’s where he was found shot dead on Jan. 27, 2016, while sitting at his desk with his legs crossed, possibly sleeping in his underwear, something his wife said he would typically do after a long day.
The family suspects he possibly knew his killer and that they may have been after money, since Arturo Perez was a wealthy businessman and there were rumors he hid a large amount of money at the office.
CBS Los Angeles reports Perez’s wife said she found some hidden money months after his death in a tool box, which only her husband had access to, but nothing in the area of the rumored amount.
Later this week, according to the Ontario police department, they have plans to release new details about the case.
