A super lucky person in Hesperia has become a little richer. In good old San Bernardino County a lotto ticket sold is now worth $72 million.
According to California officials, a ticket sold in the High Desert at the Cardenas Market in Hesperia did in fact match all six numbers from Wednesday night’s SuperLotto Plus draw, and the ticket even matched the Mega number.
Get your tickets out and check. The winning numbers were 13-9-29-27-33 and Mega number 10.
CBS Los Angeles reports that June 8th was the last time California’s in-state lottery game has had a winner. The jackpot for the SuperLotto has rolled over 65 times since then.
Last night’s jackpot was also the largest won since Feb. 7, 2009, when according to lottery officials, 15 Northern California teachers from the Gateway Unified School district split that jackpot of $76 million.
If you’re the winner what do you do now? Well, the winner will have 180 days from the draw date to claim the jackpot. They should make sure they sign the back of the lottery ticket in ink and keep it in a safe place until they can take it to a Lottery district office.
