LoCash Makes Their Los Angeles Debut at the Belasco Theatre

LoCash played Los Angeles for their first time in their career Saturday night (January 28th), making their debut in the City of Angels at the gorgeous Belasco Theatre downtown, their sixteenth show of 2017 (they noted that in 2016, they played 223 shows).

The production elements on their “Ones to Watch Tour” were stunning, a series of strobe and laser lights that projected out over the audience, creating spectacular visuals. In attendance was actress Vanessa Marcil, who played Brenda in the soap opera, “General Hospital.”

In addition to their own hits as the duo LoCash, Chris Lucas and Preston Bruston have also written several songs that have been recorded, and made hits, by other artists, mostly notably Keith Urban‘s “You Gonna Fly,” and Tim McGraw‘s “Truck Yeah” (co-written with Chris Janson), which they included in their set.

They recalled celebrating, as their previous single, “I Know Somebody,” climbed the charts, and when it seemed to stall at #6, hearing the news that K-Frog would still be supporting the song, helping to push it toward its eventual place at the top of the chart.

Other highlights included their current single, “Ring on Every Finger” (co-written by Thomas Rhett), the title track from their current album The Fighters, and the brand new song, “All Day.”

They performed a series of contemporary pop and classic rock covers during the band intros, and wrapped their show with a series of ’90s country covers, before bringing out 2014 K-Frog Birthday Bash artist and “Take the Keys” singer, Leah Turner, for an extended performance of their hit, “I Love This Life,” proving once and for all, why the boys of LoCash are indeed ones to watch.
