NASCAR is rolling into town March 24-26th. This year is a big celebration, because it’s Auto Club Speedway’s 20th Anniversary. Check out what unique things they have in store for race weekend.
It’s hard to believe that Auto Club Speedway has been around for 20 years, but it’s true. ACS’s 20th Anniversary is going to make NASCAR weekend even bigger. Race weekend will have a “Track Reunion” theme, which includes historic cars on display like Jeff Gordon’s 1997 race car from the track’s inaugural race in 1997 and Jimmie Johnson’s Superman car. There will also be an open Q&A with racing legends Richard Petty, Michael Waltrip, and Rusty Wallace. In addition to some of the “Track Reunion” fun, there will also be some of the great events that take place every year like FanFest and Hauler Parade.
Auto Club Speedway President Dave Allen talked to Scott, Heather, and Kelli about race weekend. Take a listen:
