Suspect At Large & Still Being Sought In Shooting Death In Upland

A shooting death in Upland Saturday afternoon has left police still looking for a suspect.

According to Upland police there was a man who was shot and killed at about 2:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the 500 block of North Fairwood Way.

CBS Los Angeles reports that 25-year-old Anthony Musselman was identified as the suspect, and Sunday morning his car was found abandoned outside of a fast food restaurant at Mountain Avenue and Foothill Drive.

The suspect, Musslman remains at large and the victim was not immediately identified.

According to the Upland police department, the incident began as an argument on the street between the victim and a woman. The police responded to the call of a disturbance, broke up the fight and then left.

It was at some point later that the suspect showed up approached the victim and then shot him. The gunshot victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
