Florida Georgia Line is nominated for five ACM Awards this weekend, including Vocal Event of the Year (for “May We All” with Tim McGraw), Single of the Year (for “H.O.L.Y.”), Vocal Duo of the Year, Album of the Year (for Dig Your Roots), and the coveted Entertainer of the Year, a category Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are particularly excited about.
“It feels great, I mean it’s very humbling,” says Brian in a statement from the duo’s label. “You look at the rest of the nominees, and it’s just mind blowing that we’re in that category with those artists, and it’s motivating as well.
“I think it’s gonna be a big night for us, but even if we don’t take that one home, it’s still motivating, regardless, for us to get back out there and work hard and try to be Entertainer of the Year, regardless of what happens that night. So it’s fun for us and it’s a challenge, and we’re gonna have a lot to celebrate that night, so it’s a huge honor.”
All this week, win tickets from K-Frog to see Florida Georgia Line at the Glen Helen Amphitheatre in Devore on Friday, September 8th.
