Jon Pardi Reflects on Surprising Students At His Old High School

The year has been off to an amazing start for Jon Pardi.

The Academy of Country Music’s “New Artist of the Year” is at Stagecoach this weekend and will be one of the acts that everybody will gather to see.

As much as he might want to kick the dirt off his boots after this weekend, Pardi will still be in the spotlight with his hometown football team.

“The San Francisco 49ers asked me to announce their 4th round draft pick and I’m super excited about that,” the Northern California native told CBS Radio’s KFRG at Stagecoach.

Recently, Pardi went back to his old high school and surprised the students.

“I wanted to get the seniors excited about going to college and we played some songs for them, so that was a lot of fun.”

Currently, Pardi is on tour with fellow Stagecoach artists Dierks Bentley and Cole Swindell and when asked, “If you three got thrown in jail, who’s fault would it be.”

“Cole,” Pardi said without hesitation. “It’s gotta be Cole because he’s always the guy that says ‘Just one more shot’.”

Jon Pardi will perform on the Mane Stage at Stagecoach 2017 Friday, April 28 at 6:05p.
