Review: Jon Pardi Comes Home To California, Performs at Stagecoach

Friday night was Pardi night at Stagecoach.

Jon Pardi made himself right at home underneath the Indio sky, with thousands of showgoers stomping along to his signature honky-tonk ballads.

Friday marked day one of the festival and Pardi himself seemed to be very pleased with the size of the crowd, so he made sure to give them a night they wouldn’t forget.

“I thought since it’s Friday night, I’d play back to back drinking songs,” Pardi said and followed up with “Empty Beer Cans” and “What I Can’t Put Down.”

Pardi’s voice is like no other in country music and his music can make you feel like there’s not a problem in the world. He had the crowd dancing along to “Dirt On my Boots” and brought couples closer with “Head Over Boots,” two of his biggest radio hits to date.

Pardi is a native of Northern California so coming back home for his Stagecoach debut was a no brainer for him.

Another no brainer was Pardi performing a handful of smash from his second studio album “California Sunrise,” that kept the crowd swaying and dancing all night long.

Pardi set the bar pretty high for the remaining acts at Stagecoach, so it will be a fun weekend to see what happens next!
