A Thousand Horses is set to release their new EP, Bridges, on June 2nd. The collection will contain six new songs, including their current single “Preachin’ to the Choir,” as well as seven live versions of some of the songs on the new EP and several selections from their debut album Southernality, including their hit song “Smoke.”
“That song changed our life,” says lead singer Michael Hobby in a statement from the band’s label. “It came out like a rocket, and people fell in love with it, and it was our first #1 and big hit, and that song was very special to us.”
“It’s a cool way we that we did it was down here in Nashville at Printer’s Alley. We did this live thing. And we never put out a live version of ‘Smoke,’ so we figured, well let’s just throw it … we have this and it sounds great, we want to kind of give people – ”
“A little bonus,” finishes guitarist Bill Satcher.
A Thousand Horses will perform “Smoke,” “Preachin’ to the Choir,” “Drunk Dial,” and many more at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula on Sunday, June 11th.
