Chris Stapleton Reveals Injury That Forced Him to Postpone Tour

Earlier this week, it was announced that Chris Stapleton would be postponing the next 3 weeks of his tour and a performance at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

But no reason was given, leaving people to assume he was sick, or broke a vocal cord or was kidnapped by zombies.

Wonder no more, as Stapleton posted on his Facebook page yesterday, that he broke his index finger, and suffered a detached tendon.

Ouch.

Although we don’t know HOW the injury happened, he is on the road to recovery is undergoing physical therapy.

He wrote:  “The doctor is hopeful that with some physical therapy. I will be playing guitar again soon. Right now, I can’t possibly give you guys the show you deserve. I always want to give you my very best.”

His sweet wife and back-up singer, Morganne, posted a picture of the couple, complete with her sad face and his bandaged-up finger.

We wish you a speedy recovery Chris!
