Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula is gearing up for a $285 million resort expansion and will be adding 560 jobs.
Positions available are in the resort’s food and beverage and hotel divisions and will be posted on the casino’s website.
On June 15 and 16, Pechanga will host a hiring fair in their Pechanga Grand Ballroom from 8:00a to 9:00p. Applicants interested in the hotel division will be screened and interviewed on June 15; whereas those interested in food and beverage will meet with hiring managers on June 16.
“We’re making this job fair unique so we can entice the best applicants who are looking to get in with a best in class employer like Pechanga is,” said Pechanga’s Human Resources Talent Manager Janet Borland, in a release. “We’re making ourselves available at times more convenient to our applicants, there will be interactive activities for job seekers to do while they wait, and we could start extending employment offers as soon as the following Monday.”
Food and beverage applicants will be able to taste Pechanga’s award-winning cuisine and see chef presentations. Chair massages from Pechanga Spa masseuses will be available for hotel division applicants.
“This is great news for Riverside County,” said Carrie Harmon, Deputy Director of Riverside County’s Workforce Development Division. “This announcement demonstrates Pechanga Resort & Casino’s presence as a large-scale employer and an economic driver for the Southwest region. Most importantly, this job fair, which is one of the largest employer recruitments this year, will provide job opportunities for over 500 residents. That’s a win for all of us.”
Those interested in positions at Pechanga should first apply on the resort’s website or in person at the hiring fair. Most positions require candidates be aged 21 or older; details on Pechanga’s website.
