Breaking and entering is hard work and apparently works up an appetite.
Palm Beach Post reports that two men broke into a Florida Keys IHOP restaurant early Sunday morning and tried to gain access to a fire-proof safe by apparently throwing it off the roof and into the parking lot.

An employee, who was hiding in the storage area, called the owner to let him know there was a break in.
At one point the thieves got hungry as when authorities arrived, they found hamburger patties being cooked on the grill, alongside plates holding french fries.
The two suspects got away before they could be arrested and are wanted for misdemeanor theft, criminal mischief, and felony burglary.
