Brett Eldredge has received numerous awards and plaques for #1 singles, but today, he received an award for a different kind of “Number One.”
The honor? Peeing on the Warner Music building as a college student.
According to PEOPLE Country, Brett revealed that he used to regularly empty his bladder on a Warner wall while walking to a karaokebar downtown.

“We’d walk all the way down Music Row,” he told People in 2015. “I’d stop to take a leak on the side of the Warner building. We’d stop at the same building. It’s huge and there are easy places to hide.”
Brett’s now on the Warner roster, and fortunately, the label’s CEO and Chief Marketing Officer took the story with good humor, and decided to surprise the “Mean to Me” singer with a bronze plaque on that same wall affixed at the appropriate heigh that reads, “Brett Eldredge Left His Mark Here in March of 2007.”
“That’s awesome!” Brett said at its unveiling. “Wow. That’s awesome!”
