Try coming down from this emotional high.
Jeremy Larson, a 24-year-old Garth Brooks fan and aspiring musician, scored tickets to all of Brooks’ shows in Billings, Montana and got to endure the moment of a lifetime.
He brought a poster of him playing the same model guitar that Brooks had, a Takamine acoustic, but when Brooks’ asked to take a closer look at the photo, he realized something wasn’t right.
“Oh no no, that’s not one of these,” Brooks says in a video Larson shared on Facebook. “That’s a Takamine, but it’s not one of these. Dude, if you’re gonna play guitar …”
Then the unthinkable happened. Brooks unstrapped the guitar from his back and tossed it to Larson who, did what every other country music fan would have done, emotionally broke down.
