Wienerschnitzel Has 56-Cent Hot Dogs Today

Hot dog chain Wienerschnitzel is celebrating their 56th anniversary on Tuesday, July 11, by offering their original mustard dog or chili dog for 56-cents.

The Irvine, California-based company is marking the 56th year since founder John Galardi opened his first Wienerschnitzel in Wilmington, California.

“We can’t think of a better way to mark our 56th year of making food ‘the Wienerschnitzel way’ than with 56-cent dogs,” JR Galardi, executive vice president at Wienerschnitzel, said in a release. “We’re proud to celebrate the success that my father, John Galardi, started back in 1961.”

The chain now operates over 300 stores in 10 states and Guam.
