Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire that engulfed the Community Building at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds.
Multiple fire crews were dispatched to the fairgrounds in Victorville, about 9:40 p.m., Wednesday night, after receiving numerous calls about a structure fire.
Victor Valley News, reports that according San Bernardino County Fire Captain Steve Tracy, the fire was immediately upgraded to a second-alarm commercial structure fire after heavy flames and thick smoke spread throughout the building.
The fire caused the roof to collapse in the Community Building, which is also known as the Choice Medical Group Building.
It was a little after 10:30 p.m. when firefighter declared a knockdown.
