Swarm Of Bees Attack & Critically Injure Oak Hills Man

An elderly man from Oak Hills was flown to a trauma center after he was attacked by a swarm of bees.

At about 11:38 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a reported bee attack in the 7400 block of Escondido Avenue.

Victor Valley News reports that according to officials, when firefighters arrived at the location they found a 77 year-old man suffering life-threatening injuries as a result of the bee attack.

SB County Fire Public Information Officer Eric Sherwin said, “He was stung dozens of times all over the body.”

The man was taken by airship to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he is reportedly in critical condition.
