Thomas Rhett’s “Life Changes” Sounds A Lot Like ‘The Office’ Theme

By Dustin Shappell

Thomas Rhett released “Life Changes,” the title track off his upcoming third studio album. If the instrumentals remind you of another song, you might not be alone.

Fans of the TV show may notice similarities between Rhett’s song and The Office‘s opening theme.

“Life Changes” may arguably be the most autobiographical song Rhett has written, with lyrics like, “I remember the day I told my daddy and mama, you’re gonna have a grand-kid / From Uganda that’s right, we’re adopting, and she is the cutest little girl you’ve ever seen.”

Rhett ‘s new album is expected to drop September 8 and features songs like “Craving You” and “Unforgettable.”
