For Dustin Lynch, a winter tour will be “Where It’s At.”
Dustin Lynch Talks About His New Album, Wearing His Signature Hat, & Coming To The L.A. County Fair – Frogmen Interview
Dustin Lynch’s new album, Where It’s At, dropped on Tuesday. He called in to talk about it and about his upcoming show at the L.A. County Fair.
The cowboy-hatted “Where It’s At” singer told Radio.com that Serendipity was a favorite New York City spot, so we sat down there with him to talk desserts, hats and his brand-new album, which hits stores today.
With the help of the Nashville songwriting machine (check out heavyweight names like Ashley Gorley, Rhett Akins, and Ben Hayslip) and his own well-oiled writing muscles, “Where It’s At” serves up a virtual buffet of potential hit singles.
Pepper here, and, well, it finally happened. After all the songs in the contemporary country music landscape about tailgates and trucks and drinking and moonlight and painted-on jeans and dirt roads, etc., FINALLY a couple of girls sound like they’ve had enough and are saying, “Hey! What about us?”
For Dustin Lynch, September 9 is Where It’s At. That’s when the country singer will release his sophomore album on Broken Bow Records, taking the name off his current single “Where It’s At.”
The “Wild In Your Smile” singer stopped by to see the Frogmen In The Morning while at Stagecoach Music Festival.
Night after night Dustin Lynch listened to artists at the Nashville songwriters club a.k.a. Bluebird Café’s waiting for his chance.
“It’s a new chapter for me musically,” Dustin Lynch said of his new single. “The song is actually a new kind of groove for me. It’s something we haven’t put out to radio yet. It’s less stomping of the boots and more hands in the air kind of thing.”
During the Country Jet Set Tour, Radio.com stopped in Louisiana to catch up with Dustin Lynch, who’s currently on Keith Urban’s Light the Fuse Tour. He talked about how he’s constantly tweaking his set based on venues and audience reactions.
